The Burnished Baron Boots are men's wingtip ankle boots: a lace-up boot with a brogued wingtip at the toe and a shaft that finishes just above the ankle. The wingtip gives the front its shape, and the quarters carry a printed crocodile finish, so the boot reads as dress footwear rather than a work boot.
THE MATERIAL
The upper is genuine leather, burnished so the colour deepens towards the toe and the heel. The brogue perforations trace the wingtip and its seams, and the printed quarters add texture at the sides. The finish gives each pair its own depth of shade.
THE DETAIL
The boot laces up the front and holds close around the ankle. A tan leather lining shows at the collar. The rubber sole grips polished floors and wet pavements and keeps the boot quiet underfoot, and a low heel keeps the stance level.
