THE FORM
The Edgewood Executive is a men's Oxford with closed lacing, a plain almond toe and a clear division between two surfaces: a smooth, polished vamp at the front and a basket-weave texture on the quarters. Of the men's executive Oxford shoes in the shop, it is the one that pairs restraint at the front with interest at the sides.
THE MATERIAL
The upper is genuine leather. The vamp takes a high shine and a light burnishing towards the toe, while the textured quarters stay matte and catch the light in small squares. In the darker colours the contrast is quiet; in brown it is warmer and more relaxed.
THE DETAIL
The lacing is closed, so the quarters meet neatly over the instep. A tan leather lining shows at the collar. The rubber sole grips polished floors and wet pavements and keeps the shoe quiet underfoot, and a low heel keeps the stance level over a long day.
THE FIT
Most customers take their usual European size. Between sizes, take the lower for a snug instep and the higher for a wider foot. It comes in European sizes 38 to 52, one of the widest ranges in the shop, and we answer sizing questions on WhatsApp before you order.

CARE
Brush the smooth leather after wear and polish it with a cream of the same colour every few weeks; brush the textured quarters with a soft brush to keep dust out of the weave. Let the shoes dry away from direct heat, and keep shoe trees in them between wears.
