THE FORM
The Maverick is a men's brogue ankle boot: a lace-up boot with a wingtip toe, cut just above the ankle. A textured, printed panel sits on the quarter, between the smooth vamp and the heel, so the boot has texture in the middle and polish at either end. Among men's brogue ankle boots, it is the most expressive.
THE MATERIAL
The upper is genuine leather, burnished so the colour darkens towards the toe and the heel. The brogue perforations follow the wingtip and its seams, and the printed panel adds texture at the side. In blue the burnishing shows most; in black the boot turns formal.
THE DETAIL
The boot laces up the front and holds close around the ankle. A tan leather lining shows at the collar. The rubber sole grips polished floors and wet pavements and keeps the boot quiet underfoot, and a low heel keeps the stance level.
THE FIT
Most customers take their usual European size. Between sizes, take the lower for a snug instep and the higher for a wider foot. It comes in European sizes 40 to 46, and we answer sizing questions on WhatsApp before you order.

CARE
Brush the smooth leather after wear and polish it with a cream of the same colour every few weeks; wipe the printed panels with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Let the boots dry away from direct heat, and keep boot trees in them between wears.
