The Monteverde Luxe is a men's Oxford with closed lacing and a long, clean line. The crocodile print runs across the vamp and quarters and stops short of the toe, which is left smooth and polished. Of the men's leather Oxford shoes in the shop, it is the one that mixes texture and shine in a single, balanced shape.
THE MATERIAL
The upper is genuine leather. The printed sections give depth and a quiet sheen; the smooth toe takes a high polish and catches the light first. Because the print stops where the toe begins, the shoe looks dressed rather than decorated.
THE DETAIL
The lacing is closed and set close to the throat, so the quarters meet neatly over the instep. The rubber sole grips polished floors and wet pavements and keeps the shoe quiet underfoot, and a low heel keeps the stance level over a long day.
THE FIT

CARE
