The Solvren
The Solvren is a men's lace-up dress boot with a polished, elongated profile and a discreet side inset for a composed finish.
THE FORM
The Solvren is an ankle-high lace-up boot with an elongated toe and a low block heel. These men's dress boots keep the front plain, allowing the long, smooth line of the upper to define their character. A dark inset and a curved panel give the side its shape, while a pull tab finishes the back. The result sits neatly beneath tailored trousers.
THE MATERIAL
The photographed boot has a smooth, polished black upper that catches the light along the instep and toe. Its finish gives the simple front depth without the need for decorative perforations. The dark side inset provides a quieter contrast to the polished surface, and the black interior continues the restrained appearance at the opening.
THE DETAIL
Slim dark laces tie over the front, meeting the curved panels at the ankle. Visible stitching follows the edge of the side inset and outlines the joins in the upper. A pull tab stands at the back of the collar. Below, the dark sole edge follows the length of the boot and meets a low block heel.
THE FIT
The Solvren is made in European sizes 37 to 47 and fits true to size. Choose your usual European size, allowing for the socks you intend to wear. The laces let you adjust the fastening across the instep, and the ankle-height upper sits beneath a trouser hem. The low heel keeps the profile measured from every angle.
THE OCCASION
Wear these men's dress boots with a charcoal or navy suit for an office day, dinner or formal gathering. They also work with smart trousers and a blazer, or beneath senator wear and a kaftan. The polished plain toe keeps the look composed, while the side inset and short lacing offer detail when the hem moves.
