THE FORM
The Urban Umber is a men's lace-up ankle boot that rises a little above the ankle. It laces high through a long row of eyelets, and a pull tab at the back helps it on. The toe is a rounded almond, so the boot looks smart without looking severe.
THE MATERIAL
The upper is smooth genuine leather, burnished so the colour shades from light across the vamp to dark at the toe, the heel and along the seams. No two pairs shade exactly alike, and the effect deepens as the leather is polished over time.
THE DETAIL
On the outer side sits the boot's signature: a short zip along the top of the collar and, below it, a small flap pocket closed with a stud. Stitched seams frame the lacing, and a leather lining shows at the collar. The rubber sole grips polished floors and wet pavements and keeps the boot quiet underfoot, and a low heel keeps the stance level.
THE FIT
Most customers take their usual European size. Between sizes, take the lower for a snug instep and the higher for a wider foot. It comes in European sizes 38 to 49, and we answer sizing questions on WhatsApp before you order.
THE OCCASION
