Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data LOWQUE collects when you visit lowque.com or buy from us, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Last updated 18 October 2026
Who we are
LOWQUE (Lowque Retail x Distribution) runs lowque.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. We sell elite men’s fashion across Nigeria and abroad.
You can reach us at support@lowque.com or on WhatsApp at +234 904 444 5817.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, what you ordered, how you chose to pay and your order’s progress. Card details go straight to Paystack or Flutterwave and never reach us.
When you start checkout: the details you type are saved as you go, so we can help you finish an order you leave halfway. This includes your name, email address, phone number and what is in your bag.
When you sign in or join LOWQUE Private: your email address and name, and what you choose to keep with us, such as saved pieces, your sizes and your wardrobe.
When you contact us or sign up: what you send through the contact form, your email address if you join The Register, and your email address or number if you ask to hear when a piece returns or when the app is ready.
On WhatsApp: the messages you send us, including the message that confirms a pay-on-delivery order.
When you browse: the pages you open, what you search for, add to your bag or save, the website that sent you, and your type of device. Our own counts use a random number kept in your browser, never your name, and do not store your IP address. Your IP address is used for a moment to show prices in your currency and language.
Why we use it
To take, confirm, prepare, deliver and support your order, and to send the emails that go with it: the order itself, its confirmation, delivery reminders and dispatch.
To decide whether to prepare an order. We keep each customer’s order and delivery history, and our team may note when a delivery was refused or a number did not answer. This can mean we ask for payment before dispatch next time.
To follow up a checkout you left halfway, by email, and sometimes by a message from our team on WhatsApp.
To tell you about new pieces and offers by email or WhatsApp, if you have bought from us or joined The Register. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us on WhatsApp to stop at any time.
To measure and improve the shop and our advertising, to prevent fraud, and to keep the records the law requires.
We rely on the contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the shop, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations.
Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, and may use TikTok’s pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking, to see which pages and adverts lead to orders. They place cookies or similar data in your browser.
When you order, we also tell Meta and Google about it directly from our server. Your email address, phone number, name, city, state and country are scrambled (hashed) before they are sent, so the order can be matched to an advert without those details being readable.
Our emails include a small image and tracked links, so we can tell whether a campaign was opened and clicked.
Who we share it with
Couriers in Nigeria, and DHL abroad, receive your name, phone number and address to deliver your order.
Paystack and Flutterwave process card and transfer payments.
Hostinger hosts the shop and our mailboxes, and Cloudflare may carry the site’s traffic. Meta, Google and TikTok receive the advertising and analytics data described above.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with the authorities only when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. We use providers that protect it to the standard the Nigeria Data Protection Act requires.
How long we keep it
Orders, and the customer details on them, are kept as business records for as long as Nigerian tax and company law requires.
A checkout left unfinished is deleted after about 25 months, messages from our payment providers after about 13 months, search terms after about 13 months, and our own browsing counts after about two years.
Your LOWQUE Private account stays until you ask us to close it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw a consent you gave. You can also ask us to stop all marketing.
Write to support@lowque.com or message us on WhatsApp, and we will answer within 30 days. Some records, such as completed orders, we must keep by law even if you ask us to delete them.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.
In your browser
The shop keeps your bag, saved pieces, language and currency in your browser, so they are there when you return. If you add the LOWQUE app to your phone from the site, the pages you have opened are kept on the phone so the shop still works when the connection drops.
You can clear these at any time in your browser’s settings. The shop still works, but your bag and choices will be gone.
Security and age
The site uses an encrypted connection. You sign in with a link sent to your email, so there is no password for anyone to steal, and only our team can open the shop’s administration.
LOWQUE is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
